## Hold MUSEGOD

Holding is all there is to it: no sign-up, no staking and no minimum. Every trade on the pool pays a 1% fee, and 90% of it streams to holders by balance, where it waits until it's claimed.

The token is `0x0379E228F6887c6F18bf394042ECAF81B308cb2e`. Check it before every swap. Anything else using the name is not MUSEGOD.

### 1. A wallet

Any EVM wallet works: MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow. Keep the seed phrase offline. No one from MUSEGOD will ever ask for it.

Connecting a wallet on musegod.org offers to switch it to Robinhood Chain. To add the chain by hand:

### 2. ETH on Robinhood Chain

Swaps and claims pay gas in ETH on Robinhood Chain. A bridge such as [Relay](https://relay.link) moves ETH there from Ethereum, Base and other chains. ETH sent to the same address on another chain stays there until it's bridged.

### 3. Swap

Open MUSEGOD on [pools.fun](https://pools.fun/token/0x0379e228f6887c6f18bf394042ecaf81b308cb2e), connect, and swap ETH for MUSEGOD. Check that the token address on the page matches the one above before confirming. The 1% fee on the swap is the fee that pays holders.

### 4. Check and claim

Rewards build up second by second from the moment a wallet holds, each time someone [rings the bell](#ring-the-bell). The [rewards check](https://musegod.org/rewards) shows what any address or name.eth has waiting, with no wallet needed. Connect the holding wallet there to claim it: one transaction and a little gas.

Rewards don't expire. A claim adds them to the bag, and a bigger bag takes a bigger share of the next stream. Tokens sold stop earning.

### Worth knowing

- The stream is 0.9% of whatever trades. A quiet day pays little.
- The price can fall. Every bell ring buys MUSEGOD back with the fees' WETH, and half of every muse royalty buys and burns it, but nothing holds a price up.
- A claim costs gas, so a small bag keeps more by claiming less often.

### Fakes

There is no airdrop and no giveaway to claim by connecting a wallet. Claims happen only on musegod.org, on pools.fun, or by calling `claim()` on the distributor, `0xaAFC482D0757a705C8F3c41f375c1D79832D8975`. A claim link sent in a DM is a scam.
